How do Credits and the 50–95% discount work?

RareItUp Credits are bought with real money at a fixed peg: 100 Credits = £1.00. When you spend those Credits in The Drop, every sealed Founder pack is hard-capped at 500 Credits (£5.00) — half the 1,000 Credit (£10.00) launch price. That cap is the worst price you can pay, not the best: you always get at least 50% off launch, and on quiet lots packs have cleared as much as 95% off.

How does a daily drop actually work?

One lot of sealed Founder Edition packs opens each day and closes at a fixed time — no extensions, no last-second anti-snipe. You commit credits before the close, and when it closes everyone who qualified is allocated packs at the same clearing price. One pack is eight cards.

Why does everyone who bids get a pack?

Accepted Answer

Every qualifying bidder is guaranteed at least one pack. A protected community tranche is set aside for smaller bids with a per-person cap, so a big buyer can take the lion's share of the open tranche without clearing the shelf. Nobody goes home with an empty box.

Rip it or hold it sealed?

Your call, and both are first-class. Opening feeds set completion, XP and the 1/1 chase. Holding sealed keeps the pack intact with its verification hash and a public provenance trail. Sealed packs stay tradeable once the resale window opens.

How do I prove what I own?

Every card carries a serial out of a fixed, published mint count, and every pack open writes a verification hash that anyone can check without an account. Supply is capped and audited — no reprints, no silent top-ups, no edits after the fact.

Can I flip these?

Yes, and the terms are stated up front. Auction packs carry a sealed-resale window before they can be listed, and during the cycle a sealed pack can't be listed below the current tranche floor. After that the marketplace is open — your cost basis is whatever the day cleared at, and that number is published.

How do I read the comps?

Every settled day publishes packs offered, packs cleared, pool size, clearing price and winners. That daily series is your comp set — it is the same data the platform reports, and it stays online permanently.

What is the multiplier and how do I get a bigger one?

Accepted Answer

Your bid carries a weight. Bidding early in the day is worth more than bidding at the close, and larger commitments earn a size bonus that grows each time you double up, to a capped ceiling. Your live multiplier is shown on your bid and in the standings — no hidden weighting.

What does the max price per pack protect me from?

Accepted Answer

It caps your basis. Set the most you'll pay per pack; if the lot clears above it you win nothing and every credit is returned automatically. You can never be dragged above your own number.

What happens to credits that don't turn into packs?

They come straight back to your wallet when the lot settles. Credits only leave your balance for packs you actually win.

Can I get a refund, and what does it cost me?

Once per 45-day cycle you can refund everything you've spent in that cycle. It returns your credits, but it forfeits every cycle point, multiplier and bonus, and that account can't bid again until the cycle ends.

Where do refunded packs go?

Back into the cycle. Packs handed back are redistributed across the remaining days, so the supply never disappears — it just gets shared out among the people still playing.

What is the day-45 bonus?

A bonus pool that builds across the whole cycle and is paid out at the end, weighted by your cycle points. Turning up consistently over 45 days pays more than a single big day.

Can an auction pack contain THE FIRST?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Auction packs are ordinary sealed Founder Edition packs drawn from the same supply, subject to the same 1/1 rules — including the gate that keeps THE FIRST out of circulation until half the supply has been opened.

Is all of this public?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The live bid book, the daily closing statements, the standings and the final cycle report are published on this page and stay published. Members who choose privacy in their settings appear simply as a collector.
